Techlude exists to make technology easier to understand and to choose. This page explains the limits of what we publish, so you can use our guides with the right expectations.

General information only

Everything on Techlude, including articles, comparisons, explainers and videos, is general information. It isn’t professional, financial, legal, electrical or safety advice. Articles about money matters, such as buying on EMI, explain how things work in general. They aren’t personal financial advice.

Accuracy and how we know

We work to keep our information accurate, and we tell you whether a verdict is hands-on, based on long-term use, or research-based. Specs, prices, offers and software change quickly, though, and mistakes can happen. Please confirm important details with the manufacturer or retailer before you buy. Read how we work on our About page.

Prices and availability

Prices are shown with the date we checked them and can change at any time. The retailer’s price at checkout is the one that applies.

Brands and trademarks

Product names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify products. Techlude isn’t affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the brands we write about, unless an article clearly says so.

Some links earn us a commission and we show ads from Google AdSense. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Details are in our Affiliate Disclosure.

We link to other websites for convenience and reference. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

Videos and tutorials

Our YouTube videos and tutorials show how we approached a task at the time of recording. Software and products change, so steps may differ for you. Follow tutorials at your own risk, and back up your data before changing settings or installing software.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Techlude isn’t responsible for losses that come from relying on our content or from purchases made from third parties. Our Terms of Use set out the full terms.
